The next day was Saturday and the farmers' market in downtown Hilo was in full effect.
There were all sorts of great things here. We got honey and goat cheese, starfruit and limes, avacado, papya, sweet maui onions, ginger, cilantro and
even tomatoes that were grown up on the northern side of the island, where it is cooler. I also got my first, and quite possibly my last, taste of poi here.
