To my suprise, the gardens were pretty nice. Paved paths meander around the house. There were lots of different plants, trees and orchids and not too many mosquitos. When we cooked dinner, we usually BBQ'd and ate outside. The whole time we were there, we only saw one other person take a tour of the gardens. There was supposed to be a karaoke night but we decided not to stick around.
